How do I prepare for the BITSAT?

The syllabus of JEE MAIN and BITSAT is almost the same, so no need to give extra attention to BITSAT’s syllabus.
If you had prepared for JEE then most of your work is already done.
  • Before JEE MAIN, your complete focus should be on the JEE MAIN paper, no need to even think about BITSAT.
  • Your real preparation for BITSAT should start around 2 months before the BITSAT exam.
In this answer, I won’t be telling you how to prepare your course, it is assumed that before MAY month your course is almost completed by you.
The hardness of BITSAT paper will not exceed the hardness of JEE MAIN paper, even the hardness level of the paper is considered to be very low with respect to JEE MAIN.
From my point of view, the paper level of SRM and BITSAT is almost the same,
Then why people get selected in SRM easily and unable to even cross the cutoff of BITSAT?
Not all smart minds of India give SRMJEE but they do give BITSAT.
One of my friend who secures a rank of 1600 in JEE ADVANCED choose BITS CSE over IIT, that's the beauty of BITS PILANI.
Few “Future” IITians choose BITS PILANI over IIT.
The 1st factor why BITSAT become hard because there is lots of competition.
The second thing which makes BITSAT hard is its exam pattern.
  • 3/-1 marking scheme.
  • 150 question in 3 hours.
  • Four different parts, 1. Physics, 2. Chemistry, 3. English Proficiency, Logical Reasoning, 4. Mathematics/ Biology (For B.Pharma).
The cutoff of CSE is something around 380+/450 for BITS PILANI, this means if you are planning for CSE then you have to attempt almost all the questions.
Basically, in .83 seconds you should complete one question, don’t be afraid 40%–45% paper will contain questions which will even not take 60 seconds to solve.
But almost all the student who had prepared for JEE MAIN will be able to solve these 40%-45% problems.
The only difference will that few will solve the whole paper in lesser time than others.
You have to focus on your speed, at which rate you finish a question.
For speed, you can use the below book.
I secured 222 marks in my first attempt and this because I put efforts on my speed.
