How to prepare for BITSAT exam? Which books to solve?

BITSAT paper level is much similar to that of VIT, SRM and CUSAT entrance exams I had given all so I didn’t really had difficulty in solving the paper of BITSAT. So why I am not in BITS then? Fake Answer:   They are money sucker,  have you not heard about the recent strike of students against the management? In what world you are? All private colleges are same whether it be VIT, SRM or BITS. An idiot will go their. We all know how good BITS colleges are so no need to write here. An idiot will reject such good colleges. Genuine Answer: My speed and accuracy of solving problems in given time was not that good, that’s the main reasons. When I tried to achieve speed, my accuracy went down and when I work on my accuracy then my speed went down. The only guilt I have not practicing more problems, I remember that I have solved few chapters questions from      but not the entire book. If you are serious for BITSAT exam and I mean real seriousness, then you must

What are Common Preparation Mistakes of IIT JEE Advanced?

I am Ex-Allen student and I was in Kota for preparation of JEE ADVANCED 2017. My rank was 37182 in JEE MAIN 2017 and I have given JEE ADVANCED 2017. Generally, students left the preparation of JEE ADVANCED once they got a good rank in JEE MAIN this is the biggest mistake a student can commit in his/her preparation days. There may be more reasons why one left preparation, but here I am going to discuss a few of them. Thinking that JEE ADVANCED is not of them and they are not meant to crack JEE ADVANCED,  basically, this is a wrong attitude and due to which many students who assume they have good rank in JEE MAIN by just seeing previous year cutoff, get nothing in JOSAA. Became  casual or loose interest  from JEE ADVANCED, you have to force yourself, in a similar manner you did just before JEE MAIN. Focusing on other exams, like BITSAT, CUSAT etc., I am not against any other exams but JEE MAIN syllabus is similar to all other exams syllabus, you just need to revise all the fo

What motivated you to prepare for IIT-JEE?

When I was preparing for my JEE, back in 2016. I always struggle to stay motivated. I was in Kota for my preparation, and in Kota, you can’t even spend a day without studying and if you do so, then be ready to take your bag and move to a lower batch. And to keep you motivated, Allen (my coaching institute) used to keep “Fun Day” and sometimes motivational talk is also held and some very famous personality used to come like… The Blade Runner  Major D.P Singh He was declared dead in an army hospital in 1999 during Kargil war, today he is the proud Limca record holder. After meeting him we (the students) were literally motivated very high but after a few days, the same motivation disappears. To keep me motivated I used to watch Motivation Videos of Sandeep Maheshwari, in 2016 the Internet Speed was not that good so no youtube, I used to buy those videos from the nearby cafe for Rs 10/- per 5 videos. They really keep me mo

What would you advise someone who is preparing for the JEE Advanced 2019?

Try to give all the test which your coaching is taking just before JEE Advanced, it may be possible that few questions get repeated. Stop studying extra stuff when you have only 25 days in hand for JEE Advanced, it will make you nervous nothing else. If you have marked good questions on Race/Dpps/module books then start solving them and make sure you complete it and still have 25 more days to go for JEE Advanced. Let's imagine you have 25 days left to go… Now, start solving each chapter wise JEE Mains(of chemistry and theoretical questions of physics and Maths) and JEE Advanced papers. Now, after solving questions of a particular chapter, for example, let the chapter be Rotational Dynamics, you know very well in which type of questions you are facing difficulties, what type of concept is used in that question. Start the revision of the notes of Rotational Dynamics and this time you know which concept you need to put extra efforts. Repeat point 1, 2, 3 for each chapter.

How do I prepare for the BITSAT?

Image
The syllabus of JEE MAIN and BITSAT is almost the same, so no need to give extra attention to BITSAT’s syllabus. If you had prepared for JEE then most of your work is already done. Before JEE MAIN, your complete focus should be on the JEE MAIN paper, no need to even think about BITSAT. Your real preparation for BITSAT should start around 2 months before the BITSAT exam. In this answer, I won’t be telling you how to prepare your course, it is assumed that before MAY month your course is almost completed by you. The hardness of BITSAT paper will not exceed the hardness of JEE MAIN paper, even the hardness level of the paper is considered to be very low with respect to JEE MAIN. From my point of view, the paper level of SRM and BITSAT is almost the same, Then why people get selected in SRM easily and unable to even cross the cutoff of BITSAT? Not all smart minds of India give SRMJEE but they do give BITSAT. One of my friend who secures a rank of 1600 in JEE ADVANCED ch
